Watch Me Roll!

During the last week or two, I have learned to roll from my stomach to my back. Mommy and daddy took a few videos of me rolling. Can you tell that I like being on my back much more than my stomach?!

Tonight, mommy and daddy caught me on video laughing for the first time. It was lots of fun making mommy and daddy smile.

Christmas Day 2009

I had a wonderful first Christmas with Mommy and daddy. We started out at home & had our own little Christmas, just the three of us. Later we went to daddy's family. Then in the afternoon, we went to mommy's family. I had a lot of fun with my aunts, uncles, cousins and grandparents. I also got to visit some great-grandparents over the holiday season. I really got spoiled! I loved every minute of it & was such a good girl the whole time!

Santa visited our house and left me some great presents.

Christmas at my house

Mommy and Daddy have decorated our house for Christmas. These are some pictures of me by the tree and some of our Christmas decorations in our house.

Don't I have a pretty smile? I also love sucking on my thumb and hands right now. Mommy and Daddy tried to get a picture with my hand out of my mouth but I just popped it right back in the second it was out.

My Grandma L. made me my very own Christmas stocking. Mine is the one at the bottom.

Bath Time is Fun!

Last month Mommy started putting me in the tub with about an inch of water in it. I really like splashing and playing in the water as you can see from the video. Yes, I am getting bigger. Mommy took me to the doctor yesterday and I am now 13 lbs. 5 oz. I am 23 in. long as well.

I saw Santa!

Mommy and Daddy took me to see Santa today. I had a good time and even smiled when I was on Santa's lap! I can't tell yet what I asked for Christmas, because that's just for Santa to know. When Christmas is over, I'll show you what Santa got for me. Merry Christmas!

My Pigtails

My hair has gotten so long that Mommy was able to do it up into a pigtail on Thursday. She even put a bow in it too. Yesterday, she even made it into two pigtails! Don't you think I look cute?!

Thanksgiving In Vegas

For Thanksgiving, I got to go down to Las Vegas to see my Aunt Ingrid, Uncle Mike and my cousins. I had a great time, but after Thanksgiving Dinner, I was very tired and worn out.

Some Fun

I had fun this weekend visiting my Aunt Katrina, Uncle Dave and their family.

My Phone Rattle

Today I was playing with my phone rattle. Even though you can't hear the rattle, I sure could and was having fun playing with it. It looks like mommy and daddy have introduced me to phones already. I wonder if they'll wish they hadn't later on. :)

I played in the leaves!

Mommy and daddy have a lot of leaves in our backyard, so while they bagged leaves, I got to play in them a little while I sat in my Bumbo and felt fall leaves for the first time.

I took a little nap too on my blanket while mommy and daddy bagged leaves.

Halloween

For Halloween Mommy and Daddy dressed me up as a little angel. I had fun visiting some of my cousins and all four of my grandparents.

A Couple of Firsts

Yesterday mommy took me for my first carousel ride. I had lots of fun and didn't cry at all. I am also finding out that smiling is a lot of fun. Mommy took my first picture of me smiling last night.

Mommy and Daddy had these pictures taken of me when I turned one month old. They just got the pictures back on a CD. Don't you think I look so cute?

I am two months Old!

Yesterday I turned two months old. For my birthday present I got a trip to see my pediatrician for my two month check up, and three immunization shots in the leg. I was definitely not happy about that and I made sure to scream and cry and let the whole office know how I felt. I also spent most of the day yesterday crying and complaining to mommy that I wasn't feeling well. Tonight I am doing better, and am much happier.

The doctor said I was doing great. He was very pleased with my progress. I now weigh 9 lbs 6oz and am 21 inches long. I am starting to smile at mommy and daddy and am always lots of fun. I also am starting to play with toys and will hold things in my hands and mouth sometimes.




Mommy, can you please stop taking pictures and put me down for a nap. All those shots made me so tired today.

A Weekend in Vegas

I took my first road trip this last weekend. Mommy and Daddy took me to see my Aunt Ingrid's family that lives in Las Vegas. We had a good time. I was a good car traveler since I slept most of the time on the way down to Vegas and on the way back. The only time I cried really was when I was hungry and needed to take a break from being in the car.

I got to meet Grandpa and Grandma Great on the way back from Vegas. We stopped to visit them.

A fun surprise for Daddy!

Last Thursday Mommy and I packed our lunches and went off to daddy's school to surprise him for lunch. We had so much fun having a picnic right in daddy's classroom. And of course daddy was so surprised and happy to see us. What a fun lunch time we had. Later, daddy did a show and tell with his students and showed me off to his 4th grade class.

But now I am getting so big that mommy and daddy decided last week that it was time to move me into my own room. Now I sleep in my very own crib! I still look like a tiny doll in my big crib, but I like having my own room.

We took a drive to Cascade Springs in the Mountains

Mommy and Daddy took me for a drive this afternoon. We stopped at Cascade Springs where we really loved seeing the leaves chainging colors.
